MEMBERSHIP & DONATION TEAM

Objectives:

  • Oversees the successful operation of the FMHM membership program to ensure a robust, energetic, and sustaining organization is maintained

  • Ensures membership solicitation processes are efficient and effective

  • Provides oversight of the FMHM member recognition and timely communications

  • Conducts all interfaces with FMHM members with honesty, integrity, and respect

Team Participants and Eligibility:

  • Team Lead is appointed by FMHM Board Chair

  • Team participants must be FMHM members

  • Team advisory or subject matters experts may be utilized from time to time for information or guidance however these individuals are not considered team members

  • Team members are solicited and recommended to serve by the team Lead with final approval by the FMHM Board of Directors

  • Team members serve at the discretion of the FMHM Board with no established term limitations and are approved for participation annually by the FMHM Board

Membership Team Responsibilities:

  • Identification and encouragement of the community to join FMHM

  • Communicate to members on a regular and timely manner of FMHM activities, events, and promotions

  • Perform an annual data review regarding annual membership renewals and develop an action plan to address any short comings

  • Assist the FMHM Executive Director with development of an annual membership status report

  • Ensure membership data is being collected in a consistent and timely manner along with being properly documented in museum filing systems

  • Plan and facilitate an annual member recognition event

  • Provide updates and recommendations on a regular basis to the FMHM Board of Directors to keep the organization abreast of membership related activity

  • Record team meeting minutes and provide to the FMHM Secretary

Team Meeting / Communication Schedule

  • Monthly meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month except for December when no meeting is held

  • Meetings can be called as needed for emerging issues

Property Ownership Disclaimer

  • All documents, paperwork created and maintained by the team is to be submitted in a timely manner to the FMHM Executive Director for storage at the FMHM. All documents are the property and ownership of the FMHM
