Celebrate the fall season during the 12th Annual Fort Mill Scarecrow Crawl! Throughout October, Downtown Fort Mill will be transformed with creative, one-of-a-kind scarecrow displays designed by local businesses, schools, organizations, families, and individuals.

“Crawl” through Downtown, admire the imaginative displays, and vote for your favorites in the People's Choice and Best Town of Fort Mill Department competitions.

This year, in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, we wanted our scarecrow to represent not only Fort Mill but all of York County, showcasing the important role our region played during the Revolutionary War. Martha Bratton is remembered for her courage and patriotism during the American Revolution. Her actions helped support the Patriot cause and have made her one of the most celebrated Revolutionary War figures in South Carolina history. Read more about her by clicking on the button below.
