Origins of American Fiddle Music by zach lemhouse

Modern country music and bluegrass music owes a debt to the Scots-Irish pioneers who settled in the American Backcountry during the Colonial Era. These settlers brought with them a musical tradition born in the Lowlands of Scotland and the Ulster Province of Ireland. Historian Zach Lemhouse has over 20 years of experience playing the Fiddle and has combined his love of history and music into an entertaining and informative presentation on the history of American fiddle music.
