Catawba River Ferries
Ferries were an integral part of early crossings of the Catawba River. Before transportation bridges were constructed to span the Catawba River, there were ferry locations at many points to assist people and supplies across the river. The same ferry crossing may have been known my multiple names due to the change in ownership and operations. Information on Catawba River ferries is accessible by clicking on the respective photograph.
