GROUP TOURS

The museum would love to welcome your group for a tour of the museum and/or a downtown walking tour. Our knowledgeable museum guides can individualize the tour based on the age range of your group or specific interest. Groups of 10 or more people must schedule their museum tours in advance. Small babies and young children must have appropriate supervision.

A fee of $5-$10 per guest is required at the time of the tour. Please provide payment in a lump sum via cash or check made payable to FMHM. Email group_tours@fmhm.org with any questions or to get your group tour booked!

Visitor Guidelines

To ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for everyone, there are a few rules you should be mindful of when visiting the Fort Mill History Museum:

  • Have Fun and learn something!

  • Be courteous to fellow visitors, staff, and volunteers.

  • Respect museum property; do not touch or come into any physical contact with exhibits or artifacts.

  • No soliciting including selling goods or services, panhandling, distributing literature, gathering signatures, demonstrating, or conducting surveys on museum property.

  • Firearms or dangerous weapons on museum property is prohibited.

  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Parents are required to maintain discipline of children.

  • No eating or drinking in the museum’s galleries.

  • Smoking is not permitted in the museum.

  • Trained service dogs are welcome in the museum. A service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.

  • Professional/commercial photography is prohibited unless pre-approval is obtained from museum.
